Happy Noirvember! (Or, here we go again . . .)
What’s Noirvember? It’s a month-long celebration of all things noir, started by Marya over at Cinema-Fanatic.com. I can scarcely believe it, but this is my FIFTH year participating in this awesomely dark event, and I can hardly wait to get started! I hope you’ll join me every step of the way!
For this year’s opening Noirvember salvo, I’m serving up some of my favorite gifs from some of my favorite noirs. Enjoy!

The Maltese Falcon (1941)

Gun Crazy (1949)

The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946)

Mildred Pierce (1945)

Out of the Past (1947)

Laura (1944)

Murder, My Sweet (1944)

The Killers (1946)

The Big Heat (1953)
Join me tomorrow for Day Two of Noirvember!

Love this!
Looking forward to 2019’s noirvember! I’ve missed film noir last month on TCM, and am hoping to fire some up some examples of it courtesy of the DVR soon. I live in the L.A. Area, and the New Beverly Theatre (owned by Quentin Tarantino) is showing a Noir each week this month as part of their matinee series. Maybe I can sneak over on a week day…
