Hi, Aurora — perfect choice! I look forward to reading your write-up!
Can’t go wrong with Kirk! I’d like to write about Detective Story (1951). My blog is at http://www.filmnoirarchive.com
Oooh, I LOVE Detective Story!!! Great choice — welcome aboard!
I’d love to join but have signed up for way too many Blogathons in the next two months over and above my normal work. Have a wonderful Blogathon! Next time.
I know the feeling — I’ll be looking for you next time! 🙂
I’ll do my best to be there next time. So many blogathons, so many movies, so many books….aaaaaaahhhhh 😉
If not taken, I would love to do The Bad and the Beautiful (1952). If that’s taken, sign me up for A Letter to Three Wives (1949).
Sorry. At http://microbrewreviews.blogspot.com/
I was thinking of doing a week long Kirk binge and probably will but how about I dedicate 1975’s Posse to the fest.
Sounds great! And this is a new one to me — I look forward to your write-up!
I picked this one as it’s not only quite good but Kirk directed it as well. Thanks for putting this together!
I Karen. I will like to write a profile on his life, if that’s okay?
My blog is: In The Good Old Days Of Classic Hollywood
I would also like to invite you to participate in my latest blogathon. The link is below with more details.

That’s perfect! Welcome aboard! And thanks for the Agnes Moorehead invite — I will definitely pop over to your blog and see if I can come up with something.
Thanks. I look forward to participating. I was actually wondering why nobody had announced a blogathon for Kirk’s centennial, so I was happy to come across your announcement. Let me know if you want to participate in the Agnes blogathon?
I sure will — thanks!
How about CHAMPION for http://www.thestopbutton.com ? 🙂
Sounds perfect, Andrew — Champion is a favorite of mine! Welcome aboard!
Hi there Karen. Please put me down for the Kirk Douglas film: “I WALK ALONE.” My blog is CineMaven’s Essays from the Couch, which can be found here: https://cinemavensessaysfromthecouch.wordpress.com/

Great choice, Theresa — thanks for joining us!
Well…I’d better get started. Thanks again.

Have you seen this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=izy2ittIe7A
Hiya, Paddy — I love this movie — and not just because it’s the one where Kirk teaches us the correct use of the word ‘badly’!! Welcome aboard and thanks! 🙂
Omigosh — this is the greatest!
It cracks me up every time. So KIRK.
Put me down for gunfight at the ok corral

Hi, Kellee — you got it! Thanks so much for joining us. 🙂
I’d like to write on Seven Days In May.
Thanks, Michael — I’ve got you down! What’s the name of your blog?
Wut? No one chose The Strange Love of Martha Ivers (1946) yet? Gimme, gimme!
Le from critica Retro 😉
Hi, Le — it’s yours! Thanks so much for joining us!
I don’t have the time., dammit. Why do you people persist in tempting me with these blogathons so that I’m way overbooked…? I mean, I’m running my own John Wayne blogathon that same weekend, for crying out loud… It’s not fair, I tell you…
And yet, how can I possibly pass up a chance to open up people’s eyes to a great and often overlooked sci-fi time travel movie? Ah well, put me down for “The Final Countdown”. But I’m doing it under extreme protest… (OK, so I really do want to do it…)
Thanks so much for joining us, Quiggy! I look forward to your write-up — I’ve never heard of this one!
Oh that’s a great idea! 🙂 I’d like to do Seven Days in May.
My blog is The Wonderful World of Cinema

Thanks for joining us, Rich! If you change your mind, just give me a holler! 🙂
Hi Karen. I just thought I would drop by to invite you to join in on the Carole Lombard Blogathon that I am co-hosting. The link is below with more details.
https://crystalkalyana.wordpress.com/2016/11/21/announcing-the-carole-lombard-the-profane-angel-blogathon/
I’ll be doing “The Day the Violence Died” episode of THE SIMPSONS (featuring Kirk as a Hollywood cartoon pioneer), which includes lots of terrific movie references.
I have you down for Champion — are you doing The Day the Violence Died in addition — or in place of?
In place of (trying to avoid overlap and I think it’s a fun topic).
I’m so excited about this, I posted my contribution two weeks early! https://silverscreenings.org/2016/12/01/the-kirk-douglas-recipe-or-how-to-make-a-hollywood-legend/
I mentioned I have my own John Wayne Blogaton scheduled to begin tomorrow, so I’ll be pretty busy. Thus said, I hope you don’t mind but I posted this a day early.
